If you’re a swole guy like me, a lot of people must come up to you on a daily basis to ask the same old question : “Why did you start lifting?”
And even though the answer must appear obvious in your head, and you do in fact state it clearly to them. For instance, “I wanted to be a dominant linebacker on the field in high school” or “*cough* I didn’t want to look like a skinny phaggot that doesn’t even lift like you *cough*”. There’s always these annoying people out there that will come back to you with this crappy line : “Admit it, you were bullied as a child and now you’re trying to become swole so that it never happens again in your life.” For 99% of the gym bros out there, this statement is totally wrong.
But for the bodybuilder and (mostly improvised) singer Constantine (also known as Big Con) and famous 5 percenter Rich Piana featured in this music video called “Get Swoll“, the reasons they started hitting the weights are overly stereotypical.
Of course, we can witness children getting bullied by bigger kids until they get saved and trained by their mentors Big Con and Rich. With no surprise, they turn their swoleness into a life of crime to acquire girls with fake racks and drug money… Props, great role models!
